Choosing the Right Catalog
Prebook Catalog
Use the Prebook catalog when your requested ship date is at least 91 days away.
The additional lead time allows Benchmade to plan inventory around your order and work to ensure products ship on the desired date. Prebook orders may also qualify for applicable sales program incentives.
Prebook is the best choice when:
- Planning for a future season or major selling period
- Preparing for new product launches
- Building inventory ahead of known demand
- Ordering early enough to qualify for an applicable sales incentive
- Receiving product near a specific future date is important
Reorder Catalog
Use the Reorder catalog for orders with a requested ship date at least 10 days away.
Reorder orders are fulfilled as inventory becomes available to allocate. The requested ship date communicates when you would like the order, but it cannot be guaranteed. Products may ship before, on, or after that date depending on availability and allocation.
Reorder is the best choice when:
- Replenishing products sold from your current assortment
- Responding to regular inventory needs
- Restocking outside the Prebook planning window
- Receiving available product sooner is more important than coordinating a specific future delivery
